Misty is a dedicated dance educator, choreographer, and studio owner with over 35 years of experience in the dance world. She owns Empower Dance Academy, where she has spent decades training, mentoring, and inspiring dancers of all ages and levels.

Her passion for dance is reflected in her award-winning choreography and her impressive creative output, producing over 60 dance solos each year. Her studio has also earned multiple award titles and recognition for its performances and competitive achievements. She has a strong ear for music and a sharp eye for technique, allowing her to craft pieces that highlight both precision and expression.

Beyond her artistic work, Misty is known for the genuine care she shows for her dancers. Her supportive and encouraging approach helps build confidence, discipline, and a love for dance in those she teaches.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loves taking her family on trips to Disneyland, as well as making memories on the water boating with her loved ones.
